      In celebration of 250 years of freedom, the Newton Republican City Committee is hosting a special presentation by Professor Robert Allison, Professor of History, Language, and Global Culture at Suffolk University on, "1775: The Year the American War for Independence Began." Lexington and Concord--Chelsea Creek--Bunker Hill The American Revolution began in Massachusetts in the spring and summer of 1775. Find out why, and what happened here 250 years ago.
